Hôtel Horizon is a 24-room mountain hotel, open year-round, located 2 km from the Mont Sutton Ski Resort
→ What types of rooms does this hotel offer?
The hotel has 17 rooms for families – 4 people per room. Each one has a large queen bed with a duvet, two single bunk beds, a bathroom with a shower, an LCD TV, a clock radio and a hair dryer.
Six king rooms for 2 people, bathroom with bathtub, LCD TV, clock radio and a hair dryer.
The hotel also has wood chalets that can sleep 6. First floor layout: kitchen area; living room with sofa, armchair and woodburning stove; main bedroom with a queen bed; and bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Upper floor: a loft with a sofa bed for 2 and a room with a pair of twin beds. Outside, you’ll find a covered deck with a picnic table – both made of wood – two chairs and a barbecue.
→ At what time can I get to the hotel?
Rooms are ready from 4 p.m. onwards, but you can arrive earlier and enjoy the facilities.
→ What time is check-out?
We would ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m.
→ Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
No animals are allowed at the hotel. They are however allowed in the chalets
→ Can I have a late checkout – i.e., after 11 a.m.?
If the room is not booked for that day, you can check out at 12 noon/1 p.m.

→ Does the hotel have Internet connectivity?
Yes. Internet access is available throughout the hotel by logging onto the ‘’Horizon visiteur’’ network using the code “bienvenue”. Please note that you won’t be able to access the wi-fi network from the chalets
→ Is breakfast included in the hotel room rate?
Yes, the hotel room rate includes breakfast.
→ What type of breakfast do you serve?

→ Can we have breakfast at the hotel if we sleep in a chalet?
Yes it s $12 per person.
→ What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10pm.
→ Is there an eatery onsite?
Yes, the hotel has a bistro that is open during the winter and the summer season from thursday to saturday. (Closed in november 2022)
→ What type of food is served in the bistro?
A variety of dishes for families or friends to share.
→ What are the restaurant’s hours of service?
The restaurant is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m from thursday to saturday.
→ What amenities does the hotel offer?
The hotel has an indoor pool and a hot tub, a fitness room, a ski room and a family lounge with sofa, games and books.
→ When is the pool open?
Pool hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. – you’ll need your room key to access it.
→ Is the pool heated?
Yes, the pool is heated to 28°C (82°F).
→ Is a swimming cap required?
No, swimming caps are not required.
→ Is access to the hotel facilities (indoor pool, fitness room) restricted to clients?
Yes, only guests are allowed access to hotel services.
→ Where can I rent equipment for skiing, snowshoeing, etc.?
Cinétik, in the village of Sutton, has ski equipment available for rent. You can also visit the Plein Air Sutton and Mount Sutton ski shops
→ Are there any winter activities in the region?
The hotel is a starting point for cross-country skiing, fat bike and snowshoeing trails, and orienteering is also available here, at no charge. Balnea Spa is located some 25 minutes from the hotel. If you’re looking for other ski trails, you’ll find them at Bromont and Jay Peak.
→ Does the hotel offer special rates for skiing?
As all tickets must now be purchased on the Mount Sutton website, we no longer have tickets on sale at the reception desk. (They now control the maximum capacity via their site).
